Movie Screening of Forks Over Knives: The film "examines the profound claim that most, if not all, of the degenerative diseases that afflict us can be controlled, or even reversed, by rejecting animal-based and processed foods."
Q&A with Plant Based Lifestyle Expert Micaela Karlsen, MSPH (via Internet) : Nutrition Q&A and discussion on strategies for switching to a plant-based lifestyle and sustaining the lifestyle change. Micaela was a contributor to the NYT bestselling book Forks Over Knives: The Plant-Based Way to Health*. After serving as Executive Director of the T. Colin Campbell Foundation, Micaela Karlsen recently became a PhD candidate in Nutritional Epidemiology at the Tufts Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy. She holds an MSPH in Human Nutrition from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a BA in Psychology from Cornell University. Micaela founded and administrates the website www.PlantBasedResearch.org.
