Carolyn Bolton, Neighbor

Carolyn Bolton is a lifelong resident of Rhode Island and began her journalism career while a student at Geneva College, a small liberal arts college just north of Pittsburgh. While there, Bolton worked for <i>The Cabinet</i>, the Geneva College student newspaper, serving as its features and assistant editor, respectively. After graduating <i>cum laude </i>in December of 2009<i> </i>with a bachelor&#39;s degree in political communications, Bolton honed her writing skills in Washington, D.C. while an intern for the National Journalism Center and <i>The Washington Times</i>. More recently, Bolton completed a four-month journalism fellowship at the <i>Santa Barbara News-Press. </i>Now back in her hometown, she looks forward to writing for Patch and spending time in her beloved Ocean State.
