I've lived in North Kingstown, Rhode Island my entire life. After graduating from High School at NKHS I went to college at the University of Vermont in Burlington, VT to study Public Communications and Food Systems. While at home in Rhode Island or at school in Vermont I love to run, kayak, hike, cook, write and read. I've decided to write a blog called, "A Fresh Perspective" for NK Patch because I feel that as a young adult I have a very different perspective on our current food system. My blog will consist of my day to day activities in relation to food; what great options I find at the farmers market that day, what great food books I'm reading or articles I've found, some great recipes or volunteer/internship work I'm doing in the food world, etc. So check out my blog and get inspired!
