How Hot Is It? Tell Us In The Comments!

The best comment or photo will win a Starbucks gift card.

As the mercury pushes 100º today, we here at North Kingstown Patch thought we'd have some fun with the absurdly high temperatures. And by fun, we really mean we want you to make us laugh. So how hot is it? Leave us with your funniest response, quip, analogy, photo, YouTube video, etc. Funniest or cleverest response wins a $15 Starbucks gift card. Is it so hot that even lava has turned on the A/C? Or is it so hot that milk was a bad choice? Tell us your submission in the comments section below. Note: Please keep all submissions to a PG rating.

Excessive Heat Watch Issued For Thursday, Friday

The watch, valid for Thursday and Friday, includes Boston, Worcester, Springfield, Hartford, Providence and Manchester, NH.

Is it hot enough for you? If the answer is no, you're in luck, as temperatures are expected to soar into the upper 90s tomorrow and Friday. In response, the National Weather Service has issued an excessive heat watch as high temperatures in the watch area are expected to range from 95 to 100 degrees, combined with high dew points, a heat index up to around 105 degrees is anticipated.  The most critical period each day will be from about noon to about 8 p.m. Excessive heat to this extent occurs infrequently in this area, causing the population to be somewhat more vulnerable than the populations in many other locations to the south and southwest. The NWS reminds residents that excessive heat can be a silent killer, especially in urban areas…
