Skippers Volleyball Sweeps Chariho Chargers

Skippers beat Chargers 3-0 and improve to 9-5 on the season.

The North Kingstown girls volleyball team had a striking 3-0 victory against the Chariho Chargers on Friday in North Kingstown. Momentum played a large role in the Skippers victory, as they were able to stop the Chargers from going on any significant rallies.  "This game has so much momentum that can go either way, but we kept it on our side,"  senior Sam Kerr-Vanderslice said.  The Chargers mounted several attempted comebacks, including a four-point rally in the second set, but were unable to get ahead of the Skippers. The Skippers won the first two sets 25-20 and the third 25-19.  "I thought we got outplayed tonight by North Kingstown," Chris Safford, Chargers coach, said.  "I thought they put together a nice match.
