Facebook Cover Photo Contest: Send In Your Spring Pics!

Say adios to the snow pics and hello to the spring pics!

  North Kingstown got its first dose of spring-like weather this past week with 70-degree temperatures. Now that we've busted out the sandals and sunglasses and put away the snow shovels and boots, we at North Kingstown Patch have decided it's time to switch things over on our Facebook page, too. Right now, we have a beautiful picture of a snow-covered Wickford Village as our cover photo. That simply will not do now that the warmer weather is approaching. Here's where you all come in: click the "upload" button above and add your spring photos of North Kingstown. From now until Friday, April 19, we'll be accepting spring-themed photos for us to use as our cover photo on Facebook.  Be creative and try to capture the essence of the town to …

Facebook Cover Photo Contest: Share Your Winter Photos

Have a great photo, painting or drawing that you think will be a perfect cover photo for our Facebook page? Upload it now!

Last year when Facebook changed to the new Timeline layout, North KingstownPatch held a contest and let readers to submit photos that captured the spirit of North Kingstown to be used as the cover photo.  We want to continue to highlight North Kingstown's artistic talent as the seasons change on our Facebook page. From now until Friday, Jan. 11 we'll be accepting winter-themed submissions for a cover photo for us to use on NK Patch's Facebook page. Whether it's a photo of a historic building, the harbor or people just going about their day, we want to see your take on NK.
