Snow Expected Wednesday

Forecasters are predicting some areas of Rhode Island will get up to 4 inches of snow Wednesday.

It may have felt like spring earlier this week with those 60º temperatures on Monday, but the winter chill is back starting Wednesday. The National Weather Service is now predicting snow for Wednesday as temperatures will plummet into the upper 20s and lower 30s Tuesday night and into Wednesday. Snow is expected to move in after midnight. Northern Rhode Island could see anywhere between 2 to 4 inches of snow throughout Monday. Coastal areas and southern Rhode Island are expected to get 1 to 2 inches while the coastline will see a coating of up to 1 inch. Forecasters are also predicting rain and sleet to be in the mix tomorrow.
