Lost Dog

A North Kingstown family is searching for its dog, which went missing two weeks ago.

Have you seen this dog? A North Kingstown family is searching for its pet dog that went missing earlier this week. Izzy, a collie mix, went missing from her home in the Shermantown Road/Congdon Hill Road on April 10, according to the North Kingstown Animal Shelter. She is a sweet dog, but is "very intimidated by people she doesn't know." She does, however, love treats. If you see Izzy, contact the North Kingstown Animal Shelter at 401-295-5579.

How One NK Girl Celebrated Her Birthday

Aidrianna Padree decided to forego presents and instead donated to the North Kingstown Animal Shelter.

One North Kingstown girl took the "It is better to give than receive" adage to heart this month. Aidrianna Padree celebrated her birthday a bit differently a few weeks ago when she told her family to forget the birthday presents. Instead, Aidrianna asked for donations for the North Kingstown Animal Shelter in lieu of gifts. Seen above, Aidrianna showed up at the shelter to hand-deliver the donations herself. She at least has two new fans now – Harvey and Dutchess, both up for adoption – who loved the new biscuits Aidrianna brought.

Been there, done that!  Elliot spent most of his life on the streets and is now ready to finally settle down in a loving home that provides him with a lot of love, food in a dish and a few toys to play with.  But sadly for Elliot, he does have feline AIDS.  He needs to be the only cat in a home, he can still live a long healthy life!  Information  on Elliot, and other pets available for adoption, can be found by …
