NKHS Cupcake Wars Sells Out

The cupcake fundraiser held at North Kingstown High School sold out in less than two hours.

  North Kingstown apparently loves its cupcakes. This past weekend's Cupcake Wars, a fundraiser hosted by North Kingstown High School's Class of 2015, was so successful that vendors sold out in a matter of hours. The scheduled four-hour event ended in less than two hours after more than 1,000 cupcakes were sold.  Thirteen groups participated in the competition and were broken into five divisions – professional, community, high school, middle school and elementary schools. A panel of judges (including myself!) tasted and scored each cupcake based on taste and appearance as well as display and theme.
