Tonight, North Kingstown High School is hosting a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) Career Panel for students, featuring speakers from the FAA, Toray Plastics, Raytheon, the RI Crime Lab, Lockheed Martin and more. 5 Things: Historic Sites, Concerts & Yard Sales

Five things to know for May 5.

1.  Venture into the past with Smith's Castle's Bridge to the Past event this weekend. Reenactors will set up a 17th-century encampment at the castle grounds with tours and demonstrations going on all weekend. (P.S. Look out for pirates as Neal Kirk and Free Men of the Sea will also be at the event.) Runs from noon to 4 p.m. both days. $6 for adults, $3 kids ages six to 12. 2.  It's opening day at Gilbert Stuart Birthplace & Museum today. 5 Things: Bridge to the Past, Variety Show & Breakfast

Five things to know for May 4.

1.  North Kingstown High School will hold its annual variety show tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. in the auditorium. Admission is $10 with proceeds benefiting the senior class. 2.  Venture into the past with Smith's Castle's Bridge to the Past event this weekend. Reenactors will set up a 17th-century encampment at the castle grounds with tours and demonstrations going on all weekend. (P.S. 5 Things: Ladies' Night, Variety Show & Opening Day

Five things to know for May 3.

1.  It's Ladies' Night Out tonight. LINKS is hosting a fundraiser at Quonset 'O' Club from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday night. Enjoy a fun-filled evening with socializing and shopping. Sponsored by Kohls and General Dynamics Electric Boat, this event features 30 vendors, appetizers, door prizes and a cash bar for our enjoyment.
