5 Things: Historic Sites, Concerts & Yard Sales

Five things to know for May 5.

1.  Venture into the past with Smith's Castle's Bridge to the Past event this weekend. Reenactors will set up a 17th-century encampment at the castle grounds with tours and demonstrations going on all weekend. (P.S. Look out for pirates as Neal Kirk and Free Men of the Sea will also be at the event.) Five things to know for May 4.

1.  North Kingstown High School will hold its annual variety show tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. in the auditorium. Admission is $10 with proceeds benefiting the senior class. 2.  Venture into the past with Smith's Castle's Bridge to the Past event this weekend. Reenactors will set up a 17th-century encampment at the castle grounds with tours and demonstrations going on all weekend. (P.S. 1.  It's Ladies' Night Out tonight. LINKS is hosting a fundraiser at Quonset 'O' Club from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday night. Enjoy a fun-filled evening with socializing and shopping.
