Albert Krebel of Saunderstown passed away Jan. 24 at the age of 77.

The following obituary was provided by Fagan-Quinn Funeral Home. Albert D. Krebel of Saunderstown passed away Jan. 24. He was 77 years old. He leaves behind his wife of 55 years, Loretta M. (McTamney) Krebel. Born in Norristown, PA, he was the son of the late Albert D. and Elizabeth (Pollock) Krebel. Krebel graduated from St. Patrick High School in Norristown, PA in 1953.  He served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean War. He received a BS in Management from Villanova University in 1960; and graduated from Harvard Business School, AMP in 1980. Jeffrey Gardiner of Dayton Court passed away Saturday, Jan. 5 at the age of 47.

The following obituary was provided by Fagan-Quinn Funeral Home. Jeffrey A. Gardiner of Dayton Court passed away Sat., Jan. 5 at Kent Hospital. He was 47 years old. He was the companion of Laura A. Reynolds of Warwick. Born in Warwick, he was son of the late Fred. T. Gardiner, Sr. and Joyce M. (Cairnes) Gardiner. He also leaves behind a son (Jeffrey A. Hilton of Charlestown), two brothers (Fred T. Gardiner, Jr. of Hope Valley and Dwaine Gardiner of Oklahoma) and two sisters (Deborah Robichaud of West Warwick and Dawn Gardiner of Coventry). A graveside service will be held Friday, Jan. 11 at noon at Elm Grove Cemetery in North Kingstown. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.

Obituary: Norman F. 'Norm' Chapman, 70

Norman Chapman passed away this week at the age of 70.

The following obituary was provided by Fagan-Quinn Funeral Home. Norman F. Chapman, also known as Norm, passed away Sunday, Dec. 29. He was 70 years old. He leaves behind his wife of 47 year, Nancy E. (Sovet) Chapman. Born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, he was the son of the late Norman F. and Margaret Chapman. After graduating from Brown University, Chapman taught US history in New Hampshire schools for 20 years, retiring in 1985. During that time, he received his master's degree from Dartmouth College. He had a love for computer technology and developed a computer literacy course, teaching kids and adults how to program. Bette Shaw of North Kingstown passed away this week.

The following obituary was provided by Fagan-Quinn Funeral Home. Elizabeth A. Shaw (Booth), also known as Bette, passed away on Dec. 2 surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Paul W. Shaw of the 82nd Airborne, to whom she was married for 46 years. A longtime resident of Dracut, MA, Shaw relocated to NK in her later years to enjoy the seaside and adventure with her son Capt. Paul W. Shaw II. She enjoyed the outdoors with her family and friends including sailing and car shows, and always enjoyed a cold beer. She leaves behind her husband Joseph C. Kling, Jr. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Patrick L. and Bride E. (Garrity) Cummings. Kling worked for the Navy Exchange Warehouse in Quonset before retiring. She was an avid golfer and duckpin bowler. She enjoyed Irish music and loved her family. Services Scheduled For Fatal Crash Victim

Tina Rogers, 41, was killed in a car crash over the weekend. Her funeral services are scheduled for this Friday and Saturday.

The following obituary was provided by Fagan-Quinn Funeral Home. Tina Rogers, 41, of North Kingstown passed away Saturday, Nov. 10 in a car crash on Annaquatucket Road. She leaves behind her two children – James R. Alyward III and Whitney L. Alyward of North Kingstown.  Originally from Jasper, TX, she was the daughter of Linda (Mudge) Wynne of North Kingstown and the late James D. Rogers. She was the step-daughter of James L. Wynne. John Walczak of North Kingstown passed away this week at the age of 63.

The following information was provided by Fagan-Quinn Funeral Home. John M. Walczak of Weaver Road, passed away Monday, October 29, 2012. He was 63 years old. He was the husband of the late Katherine A. (Antinucci) Walczak. Born in Albany, NY, he was a son of the late Edwin and Christina (Sager) Walczak. Walczak and his wife owned Wickford Floor Covering for 18 years before retiring. He enjoyed hunting, diving and boating. He leaves three sons, John S. Former Councilor Ted Whittaker Passes Away

Edward J. "Ted" Whittaker passed away October 20.

The following information was provided by Fagan-Quinn Funeral Home. Former North Kingstown Town Councilor and School Committee Member Edward J. "Ted" Whittaker passed away October 20 at the age of 66.  Whittaker, the former president of the North Kingstown Democratic Town Committee, served on the School Committee from 1990 to 1994 and on the Town Council from 2006 to 2008. During his time on the council, Whittaker was instrumental in the approval and construction of the Slocum Fire Station and the North Kingstown Senior Center.  He was a member of the Mount Vernon Masonic Lodge #4, The Rhode Island Shriners, and the Newport Elks Lodge #104.
