Campo to Run Against Costa for District 31 Seat
Democrat Steve Campo announces his bid for the General Assembly.
State Rep. Doreen Costa is going to have some competition for her seat in the General Assembly. Democrat Steve Campo recently announced his candidacy for District 31, representing North Kingstown and Exeter. A local business owner (Campo created and operates Rhode Island Green – a landscape and general construction company based out of North Kingstown), he served on the North Kingstown Town Council from 2006 to 2008 and was on the board of the directors for Quonset Development Corporation during the same time. Since 2007, Campo has worked at Bryant University as an adjunct professor of business.
