NK Woman Pleads Not Guilty In Child's Death
Kimberly Fry pleads not guilty to second-degree murder charge. Public defender takes over case from private attorney.
North Kingstown resident Kimberly Fry, 37, pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder in Washington County Superior Court on Tuesday, Oct. 26. Fry is accused of killing her eight-year-old daughter, Camden Fry, a student at Fishing Cove Elementary School. The child was found dead Aug. 11, 2009, at the family home on Ricci Lane in North Kingstown. A Washington County grand jury indicted Kimberly Fry for second-degree murder Oct. 8, 2010. Appearing before Superior Court Judge Edwin J. Gale at the J. Howard McGrath Judicial Complex in South Kingstown, Fry asked to release her previous attorney, Lise J.
