Seeking Submissions for This Year's 'Gotta-Get Gifts' in NK

Help us compile our list of the top gifts you can only find in North Kingstown.

  With Thanksgiving behind us, we're now in full-tilt, holiday shopping mode. For those who don't want to venture outside the town lines and would rather support local businesses, North Kingstown Patch is once again putting together our "5 Gotta-Get Gifts in NK" list. I'll be heading out to do "research" (also known as retail therapy) this week, searching for unique gifts you can only find in North Kingstown. Last year, we featured the Coffee Cuff from Updike's Newtowne Coffee and gourmet olive oil sample packs from Narragansett Bay Olive Oil Company, among others. Not sure if it was the owner or not, but the one and only time I went into Updikes with my daughter, the man behind the counter was very rude. Never been back! Don't mind supporting the locals, just not one's that are grumpy. When I need a coffee or chai, I prefer Jitters or Filicias.   more ›
