Bookkeeper for Gov. Sundlun Arrested On Theft, Forgery Charges
A former bookkeeper for the late Governor Bruce Sundlun and others has been arrested.
The Rhode Island State Police have arrested a woman suspected of theft and forgery after allegedly victimizing an East Greenwich business, owned by the wife of the late Rhode Island Gov. Bruce Sundlun. Teresa A. Roby, 37 of 775 Old Baptist Rd. in North Kingstown is being charged with three counts of larceny of over $500, one count of uttering and publishing forged checks and one count of uttering and publishing forged debit cards receipts. The State Police began to investigate Roby after Susan Sundlun (wife of the late governor and owner of East Greenwich Photo) filed a complaint against Roby – who was the bookkeeper for the business as well as for the Sundluns.
