Two-Time DUI Suspect Skips Court Date; Warrant Issued
A man charged with two counts of DUI was a no-show at his court date Tuesday.
An arrest warrant has been issued for a Warwick man charged with two counts of driving under the influence after he failed to appear at his court date Tuesday morning. Brian Fracassa, 44, of Warwick was arrested Sunday, Aug. 19 by Rhode Island State Police after he crashed is car on Route 10 in Cranston, according to WPRI. During his breath test, Fracassa allegedly blew a .222 – almost triple the legal limit. Just a week prior, Fracassa had a similar encounter with North Kingstown officers when he was pulled over on Post Road. Along with a DUI charge, Fracassa was hit with a possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) charge and multiple roadway violations. I would ask the question how this guy was able to get released on the second charge? It appears that the legal system is breaking down and not defending the public safety. Who was the bail commissioner who released this guy?   more ›
