Central Falls Boys Soccer Team Pulls Dramatic Draw Against North Kingstown

Central Falls comes back to tie Thursday's game in the final 10 minutes, ending North Kingstown's four-game winning streak.

With seven minutes left to play and the team up by one, the Skippers seemed to have Thursday night's home game in the bag. Just one minute later, Central Falls scored to tie the game 1-1, the final score. On the Central Falls goal, Skippers keeper Ben Jones attempted to block a kick and, according to head coach Kyle Froberg, nobody backed him up. Victor Mariaca scored the goal on the temporarily open net with Christian Rodriquez making the assist.  "There was nobody covering for him, so we kind of let him hang out to dry,"  Froberg said.  Throughout the game North Kingstown was able to maintain control of the ball, but the Central Falls' keeper tandem shut them down.
