BankRI Kicks Off Annual Holiday Giving Tree Program
BankRI's effort looks to help local families in need.
The following is a press release from BankRI. With the December holidays quickly approaching, many Rhode Islanders continue to feel the strains of a sluggish economy that threatens to make it difficult for families to afford extras such as gifts for their children. In response, Bank Rhode Island announced today that it will team with local non-profit organizations on its 15th Annual Holiday Giving Tree Program. The Holiday Giving Tree Program kicked off Monday, November 26 at all BankRI locations across the state (including North Kingstown), helping to provide Rhode Island children in need with gifts this holiday season.
