Services Scheduled For Fatal Crash Victim

Tina Rogers, 41, was killed in a car crash over the weekend. Her funeral services are scheduled for this Friday and Saturday.

The following obituary was provided by Fagan-Quinn Funeral Home. Tina Rogers, 41, of North Kingstown passed away Saturday, Nov. 10 in a car crash on Annaquatucket Road. She leaves behind her two children – James R. Alyward III and Whitney L. Alyward of North Kingstown.  Originally from Jasper, TX, she was the daughter of Linda (Mudge) Wynne of North Kingstown and the late James D. Rogers. She was the step-daughter of James L. Wynne. Rogers was a supervisor at Cox Communications and worked at their South Kingstown and Middletown stores. Rogers loved spending time with her family; cooking and entertaining. She was an avid reader and enjoyed music and movies. She found her greatest reward in helping others. Besides her children, mother and …

What roads in North Kingstown are most dangerous for pedestrians?

  Discussions of safety on Annaquatucket Road have sparked on one of our articles following the death of a North Kingstown woman this week. A 41-year-old woman died after her car left the road and struck a tree stump. From Facebook to our commments' section here on the site, residents have sounded off on the dangers of the much-used road – from speeding cars to the number of pedestrians who use the road. NK Woman Killed in Crash Identified

The North Kingstown Police Department has identified the woman who died in a car crash on Annaquatucket Road.

  The North Kingstown Police Department has released the identity of the woman killed in a car crash Saturday night in town. Tina Rogers, 41, of North Kingstown was reportedly driving on Annaquatucket Road around 9 p.m. Saturday when her car left the roadway and struck a tree stump. Rescue crews used the Jaws of Life to extricate her from the car and transported her to Rhode Island Hospital where she was later pronounced dead. According to the North Kingstown Police Department, Rogers' last known address was on Web Avenue in North Kingstown. At this time, the NKPD is investigating the crash. NK Woman Killed in Crash on Annaquatucket Road

A 41-year-old woman was killed in a crash Saturday night in North Kingstown.

  A North Kingstown woman is dead following a car accident Saturday night on Annaquatucket Road. According to the North Kingstown Police Department, her car left the roadway and hit a large tree stump in the area of 665 Annaquatucket Rd. around 9 p.m. Saturday. The North Kingstown Fire Department had to extricate the woman from the car. She was later pronounced dead at Rhode Island Hospital. Police have not released the woman's identity as they continue to notify her family members.
