1. Today, Gov. Lincoln Chafee will be in town for a business community outreach forum at Beechwood Center. Joining him will be North Kingstown Town Manager Michael Embury and representatives from the RI EDC, Department of Labor and Training, and more to discuss the economy and speak to small businesses. This forum starts at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday. 2. The North Kingstown Chamber of Commerce is recognizing its volunteers and the organizations they serve at its Eighth Annual Volunteer Recognition Celebration.
