Power Restored to North Kingstown
Only a handful of customers are without power in town.
Three days after the snow stopped falling from the Blizzard of 2013, nearly all of North Kingstown has power back. According to National Grid's power outage map, 16 customers in North Kingstown are still waiting for power as of noon Tuesday. At this time yesterday, about 1,400 of North Kingstown's 13,000 customers were still without power. More than 900 customers in Washington County are also without power at this time. In public statements, a National Grid spokesperson had said most of the state would have power restored by Sunday night, though many in North Kingstown had to wait until Monday night for power to return.
