No bus service on sunday and monday in and out of North Kingstown. Shouldn't our representativesRead More fight for more public transportation in this town?

So, you like your nights dark..... How do you like your freedom? How do you like your constitutionalRead More rights (a dark night is not one of them)? Those stars and stripes stand for something in this land and as you do not own the property where they are currently displayed, you do not have a say in what happens there.

While all of us are sad for the loss of Stephen Berry's friend while protecting our beloved country,Read More I personally don't think planting this flag in the middle of the cove is the best idea. I have visited Bissel Cove often over the years, and I notice the flag is clearly scaring the cormorants away from this rock which they stand on to dry their wings. There are so many other places where this flag can be flown with pride and not shoo off wildlife or tick off neighbors, why not choose a different spot?

The Flag will stand proudly. I am happy for the public awareness it has brought. A lot of peopleRead More don't know about the light at night rule. And the cormorants. Oh boy.

Waitressing at the former Heffie's Ice Cream. I was 16, it was my first "real" job, andRead More the owner fired me for putting too much ice cream in the ice cream cones. Seriously. My best summer job was doing the library stack "move" at the URI library. I could wear jeans and sneakers, the air conditioning was cranked, and I got into incredible shape without even realizing it.
