Dphs18, are you running for office? There were lots of uncontested races in this State. Nothing willRead More change unless there is a real grassroots initiative to rally the troops and field candidates. Problem is, it has become generational. On the daytime baby-daddy shows, the 42 year-old grandmother who had a kid at 15 is there with the 27 year-old mother to confront the 13 year-old kid because she's sleeping around and pregnant. The masses in this State are the trashy, selfish, idiots who elect the Dem. GA because their trashy, selfish, idiot parents did. And the parents do it because their parents did it. The sad thing is that all this was born of real, genuine hardship and deplorable working conditions, and outright abuse of the least fortunate. And it was born from the heroes who faced evil in World War II. And it was born of the innovators who revolutionized the World with technology. Oh, how far we've fallen.

The state of Rhode Island will benefit if either Block or Fung make it to office: a necessary stepRead More to offset the GA's recklessness. I agree with Bill that we need new candidates to challenge the incompetency in our State "Leadership" but there seems to be a defeatist attitude in the voters in that we keep elected the last guy to continue us on our path to ruin...what we need to do is encourage people run against the seated officials, and when there is a challenger to VOTE FOR ANYONE BUT THE LAST ONE. Hopefully, this will encourage change and to show the seating officials they can lose and that new ideas and different leadership can win.

Just remember, most folks who consider themselves Democrats are unaware that most DemocratRead More politicians are progressives. Huge difference.

Getting an endorsement from Lincoln Almond is like being in the water drowning, and someone throwsRead More you an anchor instead of a life saver! Lincoln Almond was a lazy empty suit Governor that accomplished nothing! The more Almond comes out for Fung the more votes Fung will lose. Go Block. Cranston Voter

@highflyer For the record, the ordinance on when signs can be displayed was challenged in courtRead More back in 2010 and as of this date there is no local sign ordinance. Therefore, there is no restriction as to when any signs can be displayed or taken down. Sharon’s fundraiser was last week at the Oak Hill and all the signs that were being displayed for the event were taken down except for the one you reference. The reason that sign is still there, is because the owner requested that we leave it up. Just for the record, no one is above the law. Have a great day. http://riaclu.org/news/post/north-kingstown-political-sign-case-resolved/

When Sharon knocked on my door I had a great conversation. She won me over. She really does careRead More about the people. This will be the first time ever I will be voting for a Republican. I wish you the best Miss Gamba.

Very short-sighted. No wonder the GOP is such a minority in this state. This isn't going to win anyRead More new fans -- other than galvanizing support among extremists in the party who frankly don't need galvanizing -- and it's certainly going to make it harder for legitimate GOP candidates in the next elections.
State Senator Dawson Hodgson is considering a run for state attorney general in 2014.
