Merry Christmas Breakfast at Slocum Grange Hall: Slocum Grange is holding a Christmas breakfast, from 7 to 10 a.m. The menu will be French toast, eggs, bacon or sausage, cheese omelet, home fries, Johnny cakes, toast, coffee, tea, or cocoa & orange juice. The prices will be $7 for adults, $3.50 children 5 to 10, guests 5 and under. There will be a Bake Table and a Craft Table. Slocum Grange is collecting food for the North Kingstown Food Pantry. A box is located in the Grange Hall. Proceeds from the breakfast support Grange charities. 96 Slocum Road.

He will examine six of the “big picture” concepts that helped shape Wickford’s history, including the extraordinary Washington Academy, the intriguing business enterprise that was the livestock drover’s turnpike known as the Ten Rod Road, shipbuilding, and the impacts of transportation changes throughout the centuries. Children’s Workshop’s 4th Annual Parents’ Night Out: As a holiday gift, the Children’s Workshop is offering a night of our services for free.
