On Saturday …

Yard Sale: Ten families will be participating and many fabulous items will be available at Ashton Avenue, N.K. Please, no early birds. 9 a.m.

Casey Farm Market: Every Saturday morning (from 9 a.m. to noon), the farm holds a terrific farmers market. The farm itself is beautiful and the  foods for sale are both that and delicious. From 9 a.m. to noon.

Open House at NK Food Pantry: To mark the North Kingstown Food Pantry's new home at the Little Red Schoolhouse on School Street, the pantry is holding an Open House today from 1 to 3 p.m. Stop by and check out the beautiful new digs.

Davisville Trivia Contest: Join us for an evening of fun and to support our very special Davisville Free Library, at Driscoll Hall (St. Francis de Sales Church, 381 School St., N.K.). Plan to bring your friends or make some new friends while you test your wits. For more information, click here.

Wakefield Art Festival: Crafts, food, roving entertainment and children’s events. Downtown Wakefield from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Bridge E-Waste Recycling Drive: Drop off old cell phones, computers, TVs, or whatever else you have lying around your home or office! There will be trucks set up in the parking lot to receive your e-waste. Your efforts will help cut communities’ dumping costs while raising money for a good cause. A small donation per item is highly encouraged. All proceeds are to benefit the Learning through Technology Project at The Providence Center School. A shredding truck will also be available at the drive, offering document shredding services for $.50 per pound. A percentage of this fee will be donated. At the Texas Roadhouse parking lot, starting at 9 a.m.

Wildwood Nursery Fall Family Fun: With fall planting season in full swing, we invite you to join us at Wildwood Nursery for Fall Family Fun, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Kids will enjoy pumpkin painting, kids crafts and games. Adults will be treated to helpful gardening demonstrations on topics such as how to deal with garden pests (including those pesky deer!), hydrangeas, and tips for putting the garden to bed for winter. Bring a soil sample and have it tested for free by the URI Master Gardener soil testing team (10 a.m. to 2 p.m. only). Learn about home composting from a URI Master Composter.

On Sunday …

Moving the Old Town House: If you want to get up early, you can witness the move of the Old Town House from one side of downtown Wickford to the other. It happens at 6 a.m.

American Indian Federation Yard Sale: Donations of goods may be brought to the Hall the day of the yard sale. Or you may purchase a 6x8 space for $10 and sell your own merchandise. For more information contact Heather at heatherparenteau@aol.com. 1 Indian Street. 9 a.m. All proceeds go to the Indian Hall Restoration Fund.

College Admissions Fair: The Rhode Island Association of Admission Officers is holding its 37th Annual Regional College Fair Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. The event will be hosted by Rhode Island College, 600 Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Providence, in the Recreation Center Field House. Nearly 200 college representatives will be in attendance for our fall fair.
