Coastal Growers/Winter Farmers Market: The indoor market at Lafayette Mill is open Saturdays through the winter. Among the vendors are Besto Pesto, Absolona Greenhouse, Pat’s Pastured, Olga’s Cup & Saucer, The Local Catch, Wishing Stone Farm, Farmstead Cheese and MORE (click here to see them all). Prom Expo Fashion Show: Local photographer, Laura Ink Photography, is holding a fashion show to support the private, creative-arts-based School One, located in Providence. This year, it promises to be a fashion show like no other, with a “rock concert” theme. Students from School One will contribute to the show by performing the introduction, displaying their works of art, and designing clothing to be worn in the show. All of the profits will go directly to School One’s scholarship program for under-privileged students. Tickets will only be sold at the door for $10/adult or $5/children under 6 and students of School One. At Cole Middle School, 100 Cedar Ave., East Greenwich. Doors will open at 7 p.m. with the show beginning at 8 p.m.

Recycle Your Christmas Tree: Live Christmas trees can be recycled at the Transfer Station (345 Devils Foot Road) free of charge through Jan. 25. Trees must be free of all decorations and removed from bag used to transport prior to disposal. After January 25, regular disposal rates will apply.

On Sunday …

Toy & Book Freecycle Swap: Kidzone is holding a Toy/Book Freecycle Swap. Bring in up to 7 items your child has outgrown or no longer enjoys and receive tickets to return on Jan. 16 to shop for "new" items! Any items remaining not taken on Jan. 16 will be donated to the Salvation Army. Starting at 9 a.m.

Handel’s Messiah Sing-Along: The First Baptist Church of Wickford is holding an Open Messiah Sing (Part One & Hallalujah Chorus). 44 Main St. 3 p.m.

Epiphany Choral Evensong: The choirs of St. Paul’s are performing a Choral Evensong in Celebration of the Feast of the Epiphany, including works by Morely, Cornelius, Titcomb and Perkins. Reception following. Free and handicapped accessible. 5 p.m.
