On Saturday …

Recycle Your Christmas Tree: Live Christmas trees can be recycled at the Transfer Station (345 Devils Foot Road) free of charge through Jan. 25. Trees must be free of all decorations and removed from bag used to transport prior to disposal. After January 25, regular disposal rates will apply.

Coastal Growers/Winter Farmers Market: The indoor market at Lafayette Mill is back! Among the vendors are Besto Pesto, Absolona Greenhouse, Pat’s Pastured, Olga’s Cup & Saucer, The Local Catch, Wishing Stone Farm, Farmstead Cheese and MORE (click here to see them all). From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. 650 Ten Rod Road.

Warming up a bit: Temperatures will be in the 40s this weekend, so get out there and enjoy!

On Sunday ...

Live Music Rhode Island Rednecks: Country music via New England steel guitar, at American Legion Post 15, 1016 Main St. 884-0000. From 1 to 5 p.m.

Live Music Dead Blues Society: Blues and rock, at the Oak Hill Tavern, 565 Tower Hill Rd. 294-3282. 9 p.m. No cover.
