Walk at MorningStar Horse Farm: Visit a 57-acre working landscape that has been protected by the sale of development rights. The farm staff will briefly describe the farm's activities. Land Conservancy of  North Kingstown volunteers will then lead a walk along some of the many trails in the forest land of the farm. Look for open pastures facing Tower Hill Rd. and the Morning Star Horse Farm sign at end of driveway. Sturdy footwear is also recommended. 3 p.m.

Abraham Lincoln in Providence: Providence Actor Robb Dimmick makes a rare appearance as Abraham Lincoln, 7 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in America, 75 North Main St., Providence. In recognition of the 150th anniversary of his enduring Gettysburg Address, Lincoln will recount his military life,  ordeals as Commander in Chief, and the days leading up to his delivery of the address. Sponsored by the Roger Williams National Memorial, the performance will end with a stirring recitation of The Gettysburg Address. The event is free and open to the public.
