Town Council-School Committee meeting: The two panels meet tonight to begin the Fiscal Year 2015 budget process. They will also discuss the status of Davisville Middle School and the high school’s HVAC system. At Beechwood Senior Center. 6:30 p.m.

Town Council meeting: The Town Council continues after the joint meeting with the School Committee with a regular meeting. The council will discuss possible action for next phases of the Sewer Project, including Sauga Point/Shore Acres, the Smith’s Castle proposal to locate a pump station on their premises, Post Road North, and Wickford. At Beechwood Senior Center, at approximately 7 p.m.

Merry Christmas Breakfast at Slocum Grange Hall: Slocum Grange is holding a Christmas breakfast, from 7 to 10 a.m. The menu will be French toast, eggs, bacon or sausage, cheese omelet, home fries, Johnny cakes, toast, coffee, tea, or cocoa & orange juice. The prices will be $7 for adults, $3.50 children 5 to 10, guests 5 and under. There will be a Bake Table and a Craft Table. Slocum Grange is collecting food for the North Kingstown Food Pantry. A box is located in the Grange Hall. Proceeds from the breakfast support Grange charities. 96 Slocum Road.
Wickford – Seeing the Big Picture, w/Tim Cranston: Join Tim Cranston as he explains how many of the historical details of the village are woven together.
