Five Things: Market, Music, Muggy

NK Farmers Market: The market takes place in the back of the Brown Street municipal parking lot, by the anchor, every Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. Check it out!

Town Beach family concerts: On Thursdays in July, head to the Town Beach for family-friendly concerts at 6:30 p.m. This week features Ben Rudnick and Friends. Learn more by clicking here.

Bosun needs a new home: Norm MacKay and his dog, Bosun, were Wickford Village staples. Norm was the harbormaster for years and Bosun was a fixture at the marina greeting boaters and looking for treats. Unfortunately Norm passed away about 2 weeks ago and now Bosun needs a new home. It must be a household without any other animals (especially NO cats). He is 12 years old, a schipperke, and his breed typically lives till 16 or so. We only have a short window to find a place for this handsome gentlemen to live out his golden years. Send your phone number or email address to RI Pet Network if you are interested.
