Get Out: Air Show, Art & More
The air show is happening this weekend! There are scattered t-storms projected for Saturday, so Sunday may be the day to go see the jet pilots in action!
Where/When: , North Kingstown | Saturday and Sunday, June 25 & 26 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Why Go: To see the Blue Angels, of course! Keep in mind, everything one brings to the show is subject to security searches. Also, leave the cooler at home as it won't be permitted beyond the gate. Lawn chairs are allowed, though! So, pull up a seat, put on some sunscreen and watch our servicemen and women in action! (Check out our guide here.)
Pricing: Free although a $10 suggested donation for Hasbro Children's Hospital will be collected at the entrance to the parking lot.

Where/When: Veterans' Park adjacent to The Towers at 35 Ocean Road in Narragansett | Saturday and Sunday, June 25 & 26 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Why Go: The net proceeds from the event, sponsored by the Rotary Club, will go toward two of the the club's scholarship programs for South Kingstown, Narragansett and Prout High School students. Exhibits will feature paintings, sculptures, photography and more.

Sunset Paddle through Wickford HarborWhere/When: of Rhode Island, 9 Phillips Street, Waterside in Wickford | 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Why Go: Enjoy the great outdoors after a week in the office and paddle on over to the Kayak Centre of Rhode Island for an evening of upper-arm exercise in Wickford Harbor.

Where/When: The Coast Guard House Restaurant, 40 Ocean Road, Narragansett | Friday, June 26 from 4 to 6 p.m.
Why Go: In a salute to American heroes, the Coast Guard House is hosting a Bud promo on its deck Friday night. Invite your friends to drink a beer in honor of our soldiers and say a quiet prayer as you soak in the sight of Narragansett Bay.

Science Saturday Open HouseWhere/When: University of Rhode Island Bay Campus, 215 South Ferry Road, Narragansett | Saturday, June 25 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Why Go: Just because school's almost out doesn't mean you and your child(ren) have to stop learning. Brush off the cobwebs and visit URI's Bay Campus for a day of seemingly non-educational education!
