What Are You Doing for the 4th, NK?

Our readers shared their ideas for the Independence Day holiday — what are your plans?

As the sun rises on another Independence Day — you remember what the sun is, right? — most folks have their plans already set.

Here's what some of our readers said on the NK Patch Facebook page:

  • Stephen Berry wrote that he'd be heading to the Bissel Cove Water Fire display.
  • And Kaley Buhler said she'd be attending "Fireworks at town beach...go there every year and I don't even live in NK anymore."
Here are some of the other comments left by our readers:

Janice White:

Jennifer Matteson: "Family BBQ!"

Erin Shallcross Benevides: Cookout

In town, the Lafayette Band is scheduled to take the stage at NK Town Beach starting at 7 pm, with fireworks set for 9.
