(PHOTOS) More Sights From the 2012 Quonset Air Show
Spectators showed up in droves on Saturday for the official opening day of the Quonset Air Show.
The 2012 Rhode Island Air National Guard Open House and Air Show kicked off Saturday with gorgeous weather, droves of spectators and a flurry of performers. Morning acts included Team Oracle and the crowd favorite jet truck. In the afternoon, things got a bit louder as the day's headliner the Thunderbirds roared through the skies.
If you missed it today, head over Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Gates open at 9 a.m.) Admission is free, but parking donations benefiting Hasbro Children's Hospital are appreciated. (Additional questions? )
