Walk For Meeting Street School-Colleen Harris Senior Project

Please join us on Sunday, March 18th, in support of my  senior project. There is a $5 charge the day of the event. All money raised will go directly to Meeting Street School. If you are unable to join us that day, but would like to make a donation, that would be great too! Checks can be made out to Meeting Street School. They can be sent to:

My senior project is on a condition called Hydrocephalus. Hydrocephalus is an abnormal increase in the amount of cerebrospinal fluid that builds up in the brain.  My cousin, Jake Downey, was diagnosed with this condition when he was born 10 years ago. He faces many challenges in his every day life from this condition, and because of this, he has inspired me to pursue being a Special Needs teacher after graduation. Jake currently attends Meeting Street School. This school is amazing. It provides infants, preschoolers, and children of all ages and with many different challenges a place to bring out the best in each child. They have many highly trained and dedicated educators, therapists and staff who work together to make sure they meet whatever challenges the children may be facing. Meeting Street School is located in Providence, and they provide a top notch facility to meet all the needs of their students.

We hope to see you on Sunday, March 18th! (rain or shine)

Thank you for whatever support you can give!
