Flames of Hope: A Celebration of Life is the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation's premier event and the largest breast cancer awareness event in the Northeast.
The weekend begins Friday Oct. 7th at 8:00a.m. with "Passport to Survivorship" and acclaimed stress management consultant and humorist Loretta LaRoche. Today is designed to heal the mind, body and spirit and is for anyone who has been touched by breast cancer. Saturday, Oct. 8th begins at 10:00a.m. and will include a Celebration Village with a Kids & Family Block Party. The highlight of the weekend is this evening with Illuminations of Life Ceremony: A Torch Procession at Flames of Hope. You can register here to be a torch bearer. The Foundation’s overall mission this weekend, is to raise breast cancer awareness, increase breast health education, enhance the quality of life for breast cancer patients, as well as their families and friends, and generate funding for local breast health programs.
