'Birdies For Boobies' at North Kingstown Golf Course August 18th

The second annual “Birdies For Boobies” golf tournament, a unique fundraising event for the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation, will take place at North Kingstown Golf Course on Saturday, August 18. “Saving the girls one cup at a time,” reads a lighthearted flyer promoting the event and raising awareness of breast cancer, the third leading cause of death from cancer in Rhode Island. Last year's event raised $9,000 for the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation.

The Hope Bus, a 38-foot pink recreational vehicle that serves as the Foundation’s mobile resource unit, will be at the “Birdies for Boobies” event this year.

Registration is now open. All proceeds from this event will be donated to the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation. Tournament registration requires a minimum donation of $110.00, which includes an 18-hole scramble, golf cart, and steak dinner at 6:00 p.m. To register, please email Rob McCaskill at rmccaskill83@yahoo.com or call 401-383-1851. Registration closes August 4.
