All-Ages Reading, Writing, and Riding Program at Horse Play

Join us at Horse Play for a creative approach to enhancing comprehension, composition, self-awareness and horsefriendship. Learn the history of the horse, horse care and training, riding, stable management and much more.  Come out and experience Horse Play!

Classes will be held at the farm at Horse Play. Students will participate in reading and writing activities based on individual skill levels and interests - from grade school through young adult. Writing will include stories, poetry and essays. Students will be encouraged to research and discuss various horse-related topics. All classes will involve hands-on interaction with a horse or horses at the rescue and students will also learn horse handling and riding skills.

These classes are suitable for ages 8 and up.
Younger Children's (ages 7 - 11) class Tuesday TBA
Older Children (10 and up) class - Thursday TBA

Lesson fee is $5.00 per class - BUT - we will not turn anyone away due to inability to pay.
