Water Safety Seminar

The the YMCA of Greater Providence is offering FREE Community Water Safety Workshops through each of its seven full-service branches.

Today's workshop for the West Bay Family YMCA will be held at 8:30 a.m. at the North Kingstown United Methodist Church on Boston Neck Road.

The free workshops will include information on:

- Creating a safe physical environment around pools

- Monitoring and supervising pool activities

- Visiting parks, beaches, and community pools

- Preventing a drowning
