TIME CHANGE: Healthy Places by Design - Public Spaces Working Group/Leisure Services Advisory Committee

Today's meeting will focus on the project recommendations for public spaces/recreation to the NK Leisure Services Advisory Committee and discuss the next steps to take.

Today's meeting is open to the public however RSVP is requested to dkaplin@gpymca.org with 24 hours notice to allow for adequate preparation.

The Town of North Kingstown is partnering with the West Bay Family YMCA to shape policies on healthy living through their Healthy Places by Design project.  The goal is to promote active lifestyles in the community.  This will include issues such as increasing walkability and bikeability, and improving access to recreation and healthy foods.
