The documentary film, to be screened in the URI Center for Biotechnology and Lfe Sciences, examines the declining opportunity for chldren to engage in free play. Pediatricians, mental health experts, educators and environmentalists hav expressed concern over such a loss and the impact it may have on chldren's development. An audience discussion led by Providence Children's Museum director Janice O'Donnell, Meadowbrook Waldorf School faculty chair Su Rubinoff, RI Families in Nature founder and director Jeanine Silversmith and URI Child Development Center director Sue Warford will follow.
