Survey Asks You To Dream About North Kingstown

North Kingstown is updating its Comprehensive Plan, the town’s blueprint for the future, and it wants to hear from residents and those own a business or work in NK. You can weigh in on everything from public transportation and municipal services to public schools and future development in the survey linked here.

The town’s Planning Department will take the information it gathers from the survey and use it in the recreation of the Comp Plan, which must be approved by the state and adopted by the NK Town Council before it is enacted.

That’s not to say that everything in the Comprehensive Plan comes to pass. But it is the place for the town to say what sort of development it wants for a particular area, or how the town should prepare for environmental changes.
