Submit Your Questions to School Committee Candidates

Three seats are up for grabs this election.

The 2012 General Election is only weeks away and voters still have a lot of questions. Why not get them answered?

North Kingstown Patch will be sending out questionnaires to all candidates running for local and state office. We have some ideas of what we want to ask them, but want North Kingstown voters to contribute.

What questions do you have for the four candidates running for three open spots on the North Kingstown School Committee? Perhaps you want to know where they stand on the outsourcing of custodians? Or maybe the school department's contract with Jamestown students?

Submit your questions below in our comments section for consideration. As always, please keep this civil and on topic.

Have questions for other candidates? Submit your questions for the North Kingstown Town Council's candidates here and those running for spots in the General Assembly here.

Rhode Island law allows teachers to collectively bargain "hours, salary, working conditions, and all other terms and conditions of professional employment." Which conditions of professional employment do you consider non-bargainable?

Thanks for your honesty Dr. Walsh. Wish you were still teaching, you were an incredible asset to our students!

I agree with MeanE. After all, it is kind of your fault that I got into journalism...
