Poll: Should Kimberly Fry Get Life in Prison?

Timothy Fry found his daughter dead in her bed the next morning, tucked under the covers with a stuffed elephant placed in her arms. He called 911, the recording of which Regine played for the court while Tim Fry sobbed on the stand.

The penalty for second-degree murder ranges from 10 years to life at the Adult Correctional Institutes in Cranston. If she is sentenced to life in prison, Fry would not be eligible for parole until 2031.

Does Fry deserve life in prison? Should she get the minimum sentence?

She's whacked! Put her in prison. Put her in a psycho ward. Who cares as long as she can't hurt anyone else. Give her a mental evaluation after 10 years and go from there.

She joins a long list of murders in this state. Propably the only difference is there was no malice or intent to harm in the evidence. That will weigh in on the Judge's decision. Her little outburst of firing her lawyers and grandstanding in court didn't buy her a thing.
