North Kingstown Town Council: All five seats are up this election and with , there will be at least one new face at the table come December. .

North Kingstown School Committee:  Three seats are up for grabs this November, with terms for Democrats Lynda Avanzato, Melvoid Benson and Dick Welch expiring.

Post Road Corridor:  North Kingstown's main local artery has been hit hard by the recession. Though ordinances have been put in place to help foster develop in the area and construction on sewers is set to begin soon, this stretch of road has struggled mightily in the past few years.

U.S. Rep. James Langevin:  Things are heating up in the race for Congressional District 2 as Independent Abel Collins of Matunuck threw his hat in the ring. Aside from Collins, Langevin will have to battle Democrat John Matson and Republicans Michael Gardiner and Michael Riley to hold is seat in Congress.

State Rep. Doreen Costa:  One of the biggest upsets in 2010's General Assembly elections was Republican Doreen Costa's victory over Democrat Ken Carter who had served as the representative from District 31 since 1992. Has the freshman politician proved herself to hold on for a second term?
