The North Kingstown Water Department shut off water to a section of town to conduct "an emergency repair" Tuesday night.
Officials said the work affected the following areas:
- Post Road from Newcomb Road to Chadsey Road
- Heritage Road
- Maple Drive
- Maple Circle
- Dupont Circle
- Sand Hill Drive
- Ranger Road
- Wasp Road
- Yorktown Road
Officials did not give an exact time frame for when water to those areas will be back online. They said water could be temporarily discolored once service is restored.
