A wrap-up of court activity.

WAKEFIELD – The following cases were heard in Fourth Division District Court:

  • Danielle Marie Richards, 25, formerly of 75 Hamilton Allenton Road, North Kingstown, and now of 13 Ocean Ave., Jamestown, pleaded no contest to North Kingstown police charges of driving while intoxicated, second offense, and disorderly conduct. For the DWI charge, she was ordered to serve 20 days at the ACI followed by 345 days home confinement, to undergo alcohol abuse counseling, to surrender her license for one year, and to pay a $400 fine and $710.50 in assessments. The sentence would be contingent on a home confinement review on March 1. For the disorderly charge, Richards was ordered to serve six months probation and to undergo a mental health assessment. In return for her pleas, two additional charges of simple assault were dismissed.
  • Cody James Cirelli, 19, of 1275 Old Baptist Road, Apt. #B, North Kingstown, pleaded no contest to a North Kingstown police charge of driving while intoxicated. He was ordered to pay a $500 fine and $725.50 in assessments, to complete 20 hours of community service, to surrender his license for nine months and to attend DWI school.
  • Gary Nicholas Asciolla, 46, of 311 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown, pleaded no contest to a North Kingstown police charge of driving while intoxicated. He was ordered to pay a $100 fine and $680.50 in assessments, to surrender his license for three months, to complete 10 hours of community service and to attend DWI school.
  • Dona Marie Bretanha, 54, of 117 Welfare Ave., Warwick, pleaded no contest to a North Kingstown police charge of driving while intoxicated. She was ordered to pay a $100 fine and $680.50 in assessments, to surrender her license for three months, to complete 10 hours of community service and to attend DWI school.
  • Thomas Durnan, 45, of 103 Shirley Drive, Charlestown, pleaded no contest to a North Kingstown police charge of driving while intoxicated. He was ordered to pay a $100 fine and $680.50 in assessments, to surrender his license for 30 days, to complete 10 hours of community service and to attend DWI school.
  • Jin R. Kulsic, 54, of 551 Victory Highway, Exeter, pleaded no contest to a Rhode Island State Police charge emanating from the Wickford barracks of domestic disorderly conduct. The charge will be filed for one year, and a no-contact order was enacted between Kulsic and a 47-year-old person.
  • Benjamin M. Higgins, 21, of 11 Jackson Ave., Riverside, pleaded no contest to North Kingstown police charges of possession of marijuana and malicious property damage. For the marijuana charge, Higgins was ordered to make a $200 donation to the Violent Crimes Indemnity Fund, and the case will be filed for one year. For the property damage charge, Higgins was ordered to complete 20 hours of community service and to pay restitution for the damage to the sign of . In return for his plea, an additional charge of possession of a weapon was dismissed.
  • James N. Heron, 24, of 140 Sea View Ave., Wakefield, pleaded no contest to a Rhode Island State Police charge emanating from the Wickford barracks of possession of marijuana. He was ordered to serve a year of probation and a one-year suspended sentence, and to undergo a substance abuse assessment.
  • David Paul Brown, 19, of 43 Pine River Drive, North Kingstown, pleaded no contest to a North Kingstown police charge of shoplifting. He was ordered to pay $55 restitution to Kohl’s for a bottle of Polo cologne, and the charge will be filed for one year.
  • Amildre Marisol Barrios, 26, of 174 Sterling Ave., Providence, pleaded no contest to a North Kingstown police charge of driving without a license. Barrios was ordered to pay a $250 fine.
  • Delmy Paez Archila, 28, of 22 Dorr St., Providence, pleaded no contest to a Rhode Island State Police charge emanating from the Wickford barracks of driving without a license. Archila was ordered to pay a $250 fine.
  • A Rhode Island State Police charge emanating from the Wickford barracks of domestic disorderly conduct against Gregory L. Northup, 48, of 99 South Road, Exeter, was dismissed. According to court records, the victim did not wish to testify.
  • A North Kingstown police charge of driving with a suspended license against Christine Marie Connors, 45, of 44 Pinehurst Ave., Apt. Third Floor, Providence, was dismissed. According to court records, Connors provided proof of license reinstatement.
