District Court Log: January 18, 2011

WAKEFIELD – The following cases were heard Tuesday in Fourth Division District Court:

• Joseph R. Aurelio, 49, of 177 Tollgate Road, Warwick, pleaded no contest to a North Kingstown police charge of reckless driving, which was amended from driving while intoxicated. He was ordered to pay a $500 fine, to surrender his license for 45 days, to complete 30 hours of community service and to undergo alcohol abuse treatment.
• Joanne N. Fitzpatrick, 46, formerly of 1376 Town Hill Road, North Kingstown, and now of 20 Tupelo Trail, Narragansett, pleaded no contest to a Narragansett police charge of driving with a suspended license. She was ordered to pay a $250 fine.
• North Kingstown police charges of possession of marijuana and driving in possession of a controlled substance against Robert M. Stearns, 18, of 42 Iron Horse Terrace, North Kingstown, were dismissed. Court records indicate that he made a $200 donation to the Violent Crimes Indemnity Fund.
• Deborah McCaffrey, 46, of 220 Scenic Drive, North Kingstown, pleaded no contest to a North Kingstown police charge of assault. The charge will be filed for one year. In return for her plea, an additional charge of disorderly conduct was dismissed.

The following case was heard Friday in Fourth Division District Court:

• Michael David Eldridge, 20, of 81 Harrington Road, North Kingstown, pleaded no contest to a North Kingstown police charge of driving with a suspended license, second offense. He was ordered to pay a $350 fine.
