An 18-year-old North Kingstown resident pleads to three driving violations within the span of a month.

WAKEFIELD – The following cases were heard Tuesday in Fourth Division District Court:

Thad Edward Carman, 18, of 30 Dana Road, Apt. #1B, North Kingstown, pleaded no contest to a North Kingstown police charge of driving while intoxicated, and two North Kingstown police charges of driving with a suspended license, his second and third offenses. For the driving while intoxicated charge, Carman was ordered to serve a year of probation, to pay a $100 fine and $680.50 in assessments, to surrender his license for five months, to complete 10 hours of community service and to attend DWI school. For the license charges, which stem from arrests on Oct. 10 and Nov. 5, Carman was ordered to pay $250 and $350 fines.

Suzanne Inez Wild, 39, of 41 West Allenton Road, North Kingstown, pleaded no contest to a North Kingstown police charge of driving while intoxicated. Wild was ordered to pay a $500 fine and $725.50 in assessments, to complete 20 hours of community service, to surrender her license for five months and to attend DWI school. An additional charge of driving with a suspended license was dismissed in return for her plea.

George Lenard Barrett, 28, of 72 Osborn St., Apt. #3FL, Providence, pleaded no contest to a North Kingstown police charge of driving with a suspended license, eighth offense. Barrett was ordered to serve a one-year suspended sentence and a year of probation, and to complete 50 hours of community service.

Eric Michael Walsh, 22, of 28 Queen St., Apt. #2, East Greenwich, pleaded no contest to a North Kingstown police charge of possession of marijuana. He was ordered to make a $200 donation to the Violent Crimes Indemnity Fund, and the charge will be filed for one year.

Melody Johnson, also known as Melody Stepanian, 44, of 11 Dedford St., East Greenwich, pleaded no contest to a North Kingstown police charge of shoplifting. She was ordered to pay $115.38 in restitution to Dave's Marketplace, and a no-trespass order was enacted between her and the store. Johnson was also ordered to make a $115 donation to the Violent Crimes Indemnity Fund. A restitution review for the case is scheduled for Jan. 25.

A North Kingstown police charge of driving while intoxicated against Edward A. Reitmire, 43, of 20 Gridley St., Providence, was dismissed. According to court documents, Reitmire had had a diabetic reaction, which led to his erratic driving.

A North Kingstown police charge of driving with a suspended license against Ellen Henriette Noordzy, 21, of 51 Mill Pond Road, Exeter, was dismissed. According to court records, Noordzy provided proof of license reinstatement, and was ordered to just pay court costs.
