State Police Arrest Log: DUI, Foot Chase, Warrants

The following information was provided by the Rhode Island State Police. Where an arrest is reported, it does not indicate a conviction.

July 1, 7 a.m.: A trooper arrested Miguel Izazaga, 30, of 533 Douglas Ave., Providence, on a Third District Court bench warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of driving without a license out of the Wickford Barracks. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Interstate 95 in Warwick. Izazaga was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, and later transported to Third District Court for arraignment. Izazaga pleaded not guilty to the charge, and was released until a scheduled July 15 pretrial hearing.

2:43 p.m.: A trooper arrested Robert King, 48, of 1867 Warwick Ave., Warwick, on a Sixth District Court bench warrant for Failure to Appear for Ability to Pay on the original charge of Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card out of the Central Falls Police Department. The state police officer stopped King's car on Pontiac Avenue in the Cranston. King was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Intake Center. At the time of his arrest, King was serving five and a half years' probation and a five-and-a-half year suspended sentence imposed in February, 2012, on a felony larceny charge.

July 2, 6:50 a.m.: Troopers arrested Eric Brogan, 43, of 31 Park Holm, Newport on chargs of obstructing police; driving without a license; and a warrant issued by State Police Wickford Barracks. The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation after motor vehicle stop and brief foot pursuit on June 20, 2013 in Newport. Brogan was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, and later transported to Second District Court for arraignment.

10:20 a.m.: Troopers arrested Juan Carrillo, 29, of 25 Ford St., Providence, on a Third District Court Bench Warrant for filure to appear at a hearing on the original charge of driving without a license brought by the Foster Police Department. Arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Interstate 95 in the Warwick. Carrillo was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, and later turned over to Third District Court.

3:16 p.m.: Troopers arrested Dawn Sisto, 36, of 5300 Post Road, East Greenwich on a Third District Court bench warrant for failure to appear at a technical violation hearing and ability to pay hearing on an original charge of shoplifting brought by the Coventry Police Department; a Providence Superior Court bench warrant for failure to appear for a cost review on the original charge of conspiracy brought by the North Providence Police Department. Arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Interstate 95 in Warwick. Sisto was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution Women's Intake Center. At the time of her arrest, Sisto had been serving a one-year suspended sentence and one years' probation imposed in September, 2012, on the North Providence charge.
