Search Continues for Missing URI Student

Matthew Royer, 21, was last seen in Pennsylvania.


The Pennsylvania State Police are still searching for a 21-year-old University of Rhode Island student who went missing last week.

Matthew R. Royer reportedly began his trek home to Collegeville, PA from Rhode Island on Thursday. When he didn't arrive home, his family contacted authorities. 

His car, a silver 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt, was last seen at Routes 501 and 422 in Lebanon County around 1 p.m. Friday, May 17.

Royer is a student in URI's pharmacy program. He is described as around 6'1", 160 lbs with brown hair and blue eyes. His license plate is GZR9059.

Those with any information on his whereabouts are asked to call the Pennsylvania State Police Skippack Station at 610-584-1250.
